When processing hot-rolled wire qualities in mesh production from ring form, extremely high demands are placed on all components in contact with the wire due to the highly dynamic processes involved.
To meet this challenging application, EVG has developed components made from sintered materials and specialized alloys with significantly increased wear resistance. This has successfully extended the service life, leading to improved operational safety and availability of the equipment. Additionally, the cost advantages resulting from the elimination of the cold rolling process can be fully utilized.
Facilities equipped with this specialized WR package are now in continuous use across Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, meeting the highest satisfaction of our customers.
Based on this knowledge, we can also offer specialized wear parts made from special materials for our rebar processing machines POLYBEND and POLYCUT.
Starting December 2024, EVG customers will have access to the new feature “Dynamic Target Speed” on the digital platform WIRE UP. This feature calculates realistic production targets based on past production data, taking into account machine type, product specifications, batch size, and more. Initially, it will be implemented for stirrup bending machines, with reinforcement mats being enabled from early 2025.
